President & Chair

Brett Clausen
CPCU, CIC, MBB, MSIM

Brett is the Government Relations & Process Improvement VP at FBL Financial Group, Inc. Before joining the Leadership Council as Secretary/Treasurer in 2021, Brett served as Managing Governor and Governor of the Mountain States Region, Chair of the Professional Experience Resource Group, and Chapter President of the Arizona Chapter. In addition to earning his CPCU, Brett holds the CIC, AIC, AIS, API, ARe, ARC and AU designations.

President Elect

Traci Adedeji, CPCU, ARM, API, AIDA, A-CSPO, TRIP

Traci is a Vice-President at J.P. West, Inc., heading the organization’s personal lines operation. Her 30+ years’ experience includes leadership roles with several national carriers and her expertise includes personal lines underwriting and Agile project management. Traci served as President of the CPCU Society Rhode Island Chapter and on several committees before joining the Leadership Council in 2021.

Secretary/Treasurer

Kevin Seward, CPCU, CSRP, AINS, AIC, LSSGB

Kevin Seward is an Application Development Manager at Farm Bureau Financial Services where he leads a team supporting the Claims, Membership, and Billing systems. Before joining the Leadership Council in 2019, Kevin served the Society as Chapter Governor in the North Central Region, Chapter President of the Iowa Chapter, and as a member of the Diversity Committee as well as the Board of Ethical Inquiry for The Institutes. He has his AINS and AIC designations along with a LSSGB certification.

Immediate Past President

Christopher J. Hampshire
CPCU, CIC, ARM

Chris Hampshire works with P&C carriers and program administrators to design impactful claims handling programs as a Vice President in Gallagher Bassett’s Carrier Practice. Before joining the Leadership Council in 2018, Chris served as the Philadelphia CPCU Society Chapter’s President in 2016 and 2017. In addition to earning his CPCU, Chris holds the CIC and ARM designations.
